  • A new journey

    Dear Diary.
    
    It has been pleasant living here in Rayneth, I was honored with the post the princess granted me and I hope I have not disappointed her thusfar. But I once again feel the road calling out to me, the feeling of wanderlust tugging at my sleeve. I fear the time has come for me to leave on my journeys again and I will go far away from the town this time, I may not even return at all.
    
    As proper I shall officially resign from my post as Court Mage, I would offer a new candidate for the post, but now that Mr Mercier has disappeared, I fear I know nobody who I can deem suitable. I hope my absence will not hinder the campaign against Lucard but, well, quite frankly I believe he is of little threat of this town. I’ve given one of the servants a pouch of coin which shall be the bugbear’s would she bring in her bounty.
    
    Well that is all. I hope I will not disappoint the lordship too much with my decision, but it is made and I shall not change my mind.

  • Demon sighting!

    Once again the demon Lucard was sighted in the town. This time simply flying overhead as if taunting us. I joined the fresh new Commander Draconus, Tyval and some others into the woods to find and hopefully capture him, but we were held up by a Lizardman. The lizardmen threatened us with reinforcements and we were too low a number to stand up to him should he not have been bluffing, so we retreated.
    
    The Lucard issue is becoming more and more difficult, I thought not much of it at first but it seems keeping an eye on this creature would be for the best of all. I shall gather as much information as I can the following week. If this 'is' a demon as everyone claims then Sir's Tyval and Draconus should be able to affect it with their divine powers, I shall interview both as soon as possible.
    
    Furthermore I might need to make a tally of all magic-users within Rayneth and what their specialities are. Their talents might come in handy soon, I fear I may not be able to handle everything on my own.

  • Settled down again!

    It's been a long journey since I last settled down. It was worth it of course, picked up a lot of interesting things but I can't express in words how glad I am to finally be at peace again, and have some time to study what I found.
    
    I was quite surprised at how things turned out, I sensed a strange and eerie energy in town and alerted the king at once, when I offered my services in investigating it I never expected him to name me Court Magician of the Kingdom, quite a surprise.
    
    I am very grateful of having attained this position of course but I can not help feel I do not entirely deserve it. As far as magicians and wizards go I am so very young, there is so much more to learn for me, of course a Court Magician doesn't have to be the most skilled magic user in the kingdom but it always helps if he or she is so.
    
    But that is trouble for later, I am court magician now and I shall not betray the king's trust in me. I've gotten a wiff of another magical energy floating around the forest, it is not the sinister one I briefly sensed when walking into the town but it could still mean trouble. I am putting together a little expedition to investigate, so far I have two very eager candidates and surely the king can spare some guards to help.

  	Ulrin Lightbringer (played by Earendill)
  A very good friend of Anukha. While his morals and methods are sometimes questionable, she sees him as a fellow intellectual and as such she has gained a great deal of respect for the sorcerer.

  	Siuloir (played anonymously)
  A good friend she's known for years. Anukha has some respect for the wizard, although she is not too fond of his magic.

  	The Dragon (played by Ilmarinen)
  While Heimdall has long been nothing more then an acquantance. A peculiar Black Dragon. Its assistance in a recent expedition however have made it a friend in Anukha's eyes.

  	Sneeuw (played by Sneeuw)

  	Sir Draconus Forest (played by Copper_Dragon)
  She remembers him as the commander of Rayneth's guard, and knew him back in Skuldhellir as well. She views the paladin with more respect than friendship.

  	Naeris Kol (played by CelestinaGrey)
  As the princess of Rayneth Naeris gets a lot of respect from Anukha.

  	Dorax (played by Amicitia)

  	Valder Odanar (played by Pirate)
  A rather good commander even if he is prone to actions of disobedience. He is a fast friend and a dwarf as stout as they come.

  	Gawain Monroe (played anonymously)
  A guard in Rayneth. That alone earns him some respect from the magician, but she honestly doesn't know him that well.

  	Lady Lauren Forest (played by Copper_Dragon)
  A young lass she remembers from Skuldhellir and Northkeep. She hasn't seen her since Priory Point

  	Viktor (played by Viktor)
  A strange looking man she met in the tavern. He offered to help her in an expedition.

  	Alburt (played by Hippofeathers)
  A scruffy young man with little in the way of manners. Anukha still has to introduce herself to him.

  	Pteronious Sol (played anonymously)

  	Kaylee Snares (played anonymously)
  She helped build Anukha's house in Mullachgarbh. She gave a fair price, her furniture is decent.
